February 6th, 2015 changed our lives forever. What I thought would be a blend that I created for family, friends, and myself, would  end up being a blessing to people across the United States. I began making my own blends after my 2nd big chop in 2013. I had no intention of jarring/bottling my blends. I just wanted a natural product that actually did what it said it would do, without spending a lot of money. After several people tried my blends they began to encourage me to jar my product. I never had time due to working long hours. On February 6th, 2015, I received a call saying that my youngest daughter Colie had a cheer accident. We were flown to the nearest trauma unit where she was intubated, because they could not stop her from having seizures. When they finally woke her up she was having about sixteen seizures a day. This caused me to stop working so that I could care for her full time. After the accident I decided to take the advice of those who had been encouraging me to jar my blends. I ordered supplies and told myself I'd give it a year to see how it would go. If it failed I'd let it go. I had no idea that so many people would fall in love with my blends and be supportive of Colie's journey. One year after starting my small business, Soul Addiction was being purchased by people all over the United States. I appreciate all of the love and support that we have received throughout our journey.  If it wasn't for that tragic day I probably would have never jarred my blends. I believe everything happens for a reason, and that accident pushed me to be a blessing to people all over. Without God, and our supporters this would not have been possible.
